RAILS table lamp was launched at Alcova during Milan Design Week 2021.
As RAILS represents the concept of change and fluidity, this versatile lamp can lay horizontally or vertically.
The lamp is the furniture RAILS 550 extruded model scale 1:5.

Care Instructions:
Made with love to last, every piece is handcrafted with care in Europe, by specialists metal and wood artisans who blend traditional techniques and innovative technology. RAILS® feature an extra coat of hardwearing lacquer and varnish. However, we recommend handling the units with care. Avoid dragging when repositioning in order to protect both the units and flooring. We provide four felt pads to place under the RAILS® for extra protection if you decide to keep the unit in one position only. We believe in the beauty of natural materials, so our brass-finished pieces have been left unlacquered, resulting in a gentle patina and an enhanced beauty as oxidisation occurs over time. Wipe with a soft cloth to avoid damage. Do not use abrasive agents as this will damage the surface.
Giving Pledge:
Each unique unit features a ‘GP’ engraved brass disc, acting both as a signature of designer Gwendoline Porte and a reminder of her ‘Giving Pledge’ - a commitment to donate a share of the proceeds from every piece to the EPIC Foundation, which supports high-impact social organisations tackling youth and children issues globally (epic.foundation).
